New Hobby King Cat (Surge Crusher)

A Short video of my S C last night,a bitt windy,and I had to tak a swim 4 it .

Stock but with a Prather 215 prop . My hull , ore rather the opening to the hull seems smaler than some of the pic's in this tread, and it's a bitt tight to get the lipos in place,also the motor sit's higher in the my boat than in some of the pic's in this tread.
The hull has joysway logo on it, but maybe it's an copy.? Will post some pic's later.

Will the stock ESC handle 5 s lipo's?

Just wanted to share some pic's of my SC , wich to me seems much smaller than other's in this tread.
I wonder if it will fit the Turnigy Typhoon 500H Heli Motor 1800kv that others have installed in it.
what do you folks think ?

That hull is different. Mine was rounded at the front of the hatch.

the typhoon is a good motor for this hull, but update the ESC too.

Did you get that from Hobby King or somewhere else?

Bought it from a fellow forum user in Norway. The box say's joysway ore what the brand was called.
I will have a chat with him and hear if it was from globy/throttlestore ore from a HK site.

What can you tell me about the KDA motor? kv range.

I don't know about that motor but i would imagine it would be 2000kv.

I would not be very happy, the other hull is much longer than yours etc...

Wow that is completely different, Even a lot of the hardware! The only thing that looks the same is the esc and the color.

Ray, it looks about the same size as the Hobby King Surge? How do you know it is shorter? I wish my "surge crusher" had the nice square hatch!!!
