By the way Brod I was just playin around please don't take offense:) to my sayin wrong forum....LOL...

Anyhow I think I will try the Scorpion first since I do already own it.... but I very well may try the screamers too..... If I had just a couple people that had actual good feedback from the screamers motor I would definately go that route but sounds like thats virtually nonexistant.. can even find youtube vids of screamers motors......

I think Randy was running one in his 1/8 Proboat.

Well thanks to RUMDOG... I now have a New Little Screamers in my arsenal of motors...:) He gave me a great deal.... and it made it less of a hard decision, I may try the screamers first in my 44" aeromarine team america cat on 10s... as I have already fitted the scorpion to my Delta Force Sniper!! Nobody wants to see a video of my sniper with the scorpion outrunner do they? what prop should I use on 10s2p for my first run with the sniper and the scorpion? and also do I run my esc in "outrunner" mode? thats what I ran last time and she cooked..... does anyone know the timing I should run and anymore esc setup info would be great... I am starting off with a Newly purchased New Turnigy Monster that Ken joyle waterproofed and upfitted with liquid cooling... bought off him a few days back......

                Scorpion timing

                Hello JMScard

                i have scorpions 4035/800!

They like 8khz switching frequency and 15 to 20º timing!
Any different setup then this and they get HOT!
With 8 khz switching, both motor and speed controller thanks....
As with props, start with X455 props, its a safe start point, but i don´t know your hull and the wheight of it....But i think that you already have a start point!

                Very Best Regards

Thanks man...have you run one? I ran mine at 8khz switching but at 7 or 8 degrees.... maybe this was my problem.... how many pole motor should I set it for and should I program it as an outrunner? some of my hv esc's have this option and I am gonna try a couple of them... a Watercooled turnigy monster and a schulze v16 40-160. Thanks again for the help.

Yeah, Randy's proboat ran 56mph on 10s. With 12s, It's really gonna fly! Should push the sniper really well!
