Delta Force Sniper... Little Screamers or Scorpion

So please cast your vote on what I should put in My Delta Force Sniper.... I had a neu 2215 in her but another member made me a deal I couldn't refuse so its gone... I want to try an outrunner in it... I already have two scorpion 4035's but have been thinking about a little screamers... so what should I put in it??? should I go with a little screamers or a Scorpion 4035/800... I am planning on 10s and 12s setups and was hoping I could go 10s1p and 12s1p.... I want to try and keep the boat as light as possible and figure I will just keep my runtime down to 3 or 4 minutes on 1p.... So what do you think... Screamer or Scorpion... which would you like to see in her! I already have 2 scorpion 4035's .... If I go with a Screamer Steve is gonna get a little more business.... :)

Not that it matters but I am also gonna use a schulze 40-160 fut V16 watercooled esc.... in case it matters what you guys recommend.. I also have a turnigy monster and a hv240... so give me a combo to try.... and I will go with it!

Why not put a LS in there and do a comparison for the rest of us.

Also does anyone know if the Mounting pattern on the Little Screamers is the same as the Neu 2215? wondering how I would go about finding out if I need to get a different mount...

You can run 1P on any motor you want. It comes down to how much run time you want. I would expect only 2 minutes on 1P. I will say 1P is not recomended on any hull of this size because of the power needed to push a gas size hull. It will also be harder on the equipment.
The bolt pattern on the screamer is wider than the Neu. I had to drill new holes in my mount to get the screamer to fit.

Another issue with 1P is voltage depression and ripple currents. If you draw a lot of current - over 100-130 amps - expect a lot of voltage ripple from 1P. This will reduce the life of the caps and is a major cause of ESC failure.

This all depends on the mAh capacity of the cells and their "C" discharge rating. Frankly, I take any "C" rating over 35C to 40C with a grain of salt.....

Since you have a Scorpion, give it a whirl. BUUUUT, get the little screamers too so you can compare. It IS watercooled too! I'll hopefully run mine some day.

Example it was designed for the 2010 season so hows it doing ? Run twin scorpions and boil some water. Everyone wants you to run the screamer for answers. I would want you to too but hey whos job is that? Beta testers get free equipment to throw a hammer at so forget that.

I've already gone electric crazy.... Literally I have about 7 or 8 gas buggies, truggys, revos, etc. sitting in a couple plastic storage tubs in my basement..... I hate nitro... no desire to ever run one again.... but before you ask no I don't want to sell them for pennies on the dollar..... I don't even want to ship... in fact some of them have been stripped of their metal geared servos... etc... they are parts machines... they are way to finicky for me... remind me of my last girlfriend!

I just made an LARGE order from RC lipos for 30c 5000mah Polyquest Lipos that is gonna make my sniper and H&M supercat stand on its back end with any motor! I already had alot of Mike Martins 30C polyquest inventory before he just took a break from the scene.... If my hobby room catches fire I'm gonna need to alert everyone within a 50 mile radius...LOL...
