it's a pretty big boat for a Feigao XL!!! you'd better go for a NEU if you want to reach 60mph! maybe a 580 can do it but a 540XL won't last!

Neither. If you are looking for a true 60mph, I agree with the other guys. The 540xl is not large enough to push it to 60. You will need a Neu.

From a personal experience, a 10XL on 6S will be hot enough to cook eggs on it after 2min (30" cat, 43mm prop). 5S was perfect, got a max of 70kph.

I run a 1515 1Y on 4S2P in my Vegas [ not the Deuce]. It clocks a consistant 60 + mph every run, and I've had the boat almost a year. The boat is the 2009-2010 NAMBA P-Sport Hydro 2-Lap record holder as well. It comes in cool on the motor & SC [LV 240]. One thing I attribute the low temps to is the superb Wohlt wire drive and ball bearing strut - less parasitic driveline drag. I can't imagine where you'd fit a 6S pack BTW - my 4S Turnigys just make it.
Not to rain on your parade, but the Duece has been redesigned to run better with the .18 nitro motor instead of the .21 that came with the previous MV and some nitro racers have reported instability at speeds much over the mid-forties ; confirmed by Mike Z. who has a hand in designing the AQ Vegas boats. Just so you know

As been pointed out in previous posts, this video was a one-time event. While untaping, the boat exploded and all that was left of Brad, who was helping, was his shoes. Authorities are still searching for the poor lad.

The Castle-Neu equivalent is the 1515 1Y. Is the Neu better ?, Honestly, I don't have any data to answer this. Props ? I run X642's, P 220's and M445's all scalpel-sharpened & "breathed on"
