Can anyone explain prop sizing to match motor without burning esc?
I have a shockwave 26 brushless and used a metal prop and quickly melted down the esc. Horizon tech states that a higher pitch will cause the motor to over heat the esc. The prop i used was an octura x535 which is actualy less pitch than stock. So with that being said i'm not sure that i need to match the pitch of a stock prop or go even lower with a metal prop?
Any help in understanding why metal props smoke esc's would be great!!
