    Yep, similar to that, though I found holes reduced the surface area of the bearing too much and they would crack between the holes, I now use slots.

    Its just k&s tube with holes drilled in it and flared on the end, baffles my why anyone would buy one

    I make some of my own stuff, but not struts yet, though it wont be long and my lathe will be setup for milling also so I can make it all myself.

      I'll just be using standard 304 Stainless tubing from onlinemetals.com and brazing the tube to the vertical piece. Same way Randy @ BBY makes his struts, except his bottom tube is machined.

      What kind of slots are you talking about? All the holes do is hold grease/oil for lubrication, no?

        instead of holes, i cut slots to hold the grease, I use a hacksaw to do it.

        also working on a new design that will hold even more grease, will share it once ive tested it.
