Yah... sure... We'll see how you feel about that once you get it together and drive it! I have been racing a Dark Horse 26" in O-Mono and N2-Mono for two seasons now... Even with the major strake mods I did, it's still not able to fully compete with the DF... at least not in race water...

I'm actually thinking of using the Dark Horse for a SAW attempt, and keeping the DF for Oval duties! It just handles the water beautifully and drives like a dream...

You are going to love it!

By the way... I sent an e-mail to Doug... Have him forward it to you... Might help the build along...

thanks i appreciate it!!! just fyi the dark horse was what i took the n2 mono record with...and i had a 49+ mph o2 pass with it but ran out of time to tweak it in order to back it up.... awesome hull but it would appear as if i was quickly reaching hull speed... lol

You know... If I'm not mistaken, I believe that O-Mono has the same parallelling allowance that the rest of the classes do... at least in NAMBA...

DH 26" mono... two sets of 8-IB4200's in parallel... Extra juice... extra weight... suddenly... the hull speed is MUCH higher... Hmmmmm.....

                  What's hull speed? LOLOL

57 MPH El Lobo hull speed was somewhere in the 40s. LOL

But you never know. I will have the El Lobo going at the next SAWS race that's for sure. 60MPH + here I come.
I like the idea on the build off too.
