I understand from Glenn that Chris Harris made a couple passes over 100 mph with his P rigger but did not back them up.

Yah... what's the deal... We are usually flooded with reports... Why the tight lips?? Having WAY too much fun out there, I imagine!

I think I will have to start attending the events as a reporter, camara and lap top in hand!

(If I only had that much time on my hands!)

I heard from Brian, who talked to Paul Pachmayer... Paul apparently had an official two way pass in N2-Sport, using Brian's revised sponson Dark Horse Shovel, of 77-mph...

Don't even ask if you can get one too... I think this is one of those one of a kind, WAY too hard to manufacture experiments that happens to work very well! Pretty amazing to have a shovel that can vent enough air to stay on the water at those speeds!

I just read that Chris Harris set a new P-Hydro record of 103mph this morning... Had a pass of 106 one way... That's HAULING ASS for a "12-cell" boat... (actually... 4S2P I think... )... Nice work!

Does the back up pass need to be a certain percentage of the first pass? I dont fully understand "back it up" thanks

Two consecutive passes are averaged to get the official record speed. This takes into account wind, current, etc. If one pass is 100 mph and the next pass is 80 mph, the official record would then be 90 mph.

I know. It was a great race.
Chris' 106 MPH run was great.
The shock on everybody's face including my own, when I pushed my little El Lobo 57 MPH, was priceless. To set the new record then the last day Casey took it from me. But that's ok. I'll be back for my record.:)
