Its very new..............may not be any actual test data from anyone, but its a nice looking boat with some neat hardware. The motor is said to be a 40x74............its the same size as the MM2200 if listing is accurate..............thats big. Also says it needs 2 x 3s batts...........most likely a 6s boat...........35k range based on the 1600kv. I've never seen it but i am highly impressed on first look and may consider this myself since the "Genesis" bug has worn off for me. Under my login the price is $344.

Ive only just joined hobbyking so it gives me it at the list price of $389, even with the exchage rate to gbp its still quite a lot for me. part of me says just buy it and the other says wait for the venom p1, i just dont want to wait, we are getting some great sunshine in the UK at the mo and i want to be out there tearing the lake up. Since i sold my bj26 ive been looking for something better to replace it.

I already have a good radio (M11x) and good charging equipment (Hyperion/Novak) but have no idea what to buy first to get into the water. Like the looks and performance of the Aquacraft UL 1 and the Kintec Racing 25" Prince and was wondering what your advice here would be as you seem like a friendly bunch! I am close to a few large ponds and small lakes with conditions from glass surface to choppy and everything in between. I can wrench and I can solder so I don't really consider myself a complete newbie here. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks.
Im with everyone else on the sv27.I dont have 1 but ive seen them run and they handle the rough stuff pretty good.Aquacraft makes good boats and the customer service is very good. The main thing I know is to stay away from steerable outdrives. Not the best of steering. The ul1 is a good boat too.Just cant handle choppy water as a deep vee can.And be sure to search the aftermarket too if your wanting to upgrade parts. If your choice dont have much aftermarket support, stay away from it.Oh,one more thing-DO NOT BUY A VENOM BOAT.Unless you want to completely gut the thing and use aftermarket parts.Good luck.Hope this helps you.

Thanks Again Fellas! Very good advice here from a friendly group.....
I must have read almost 100 pages worth here to start the learning process. I think I'll steer clear of the UL 1 for now and get something I can use in more types of water conditions. I want something that will handle well and is upgradable. That Osprey from Hobby King looks good but over 1 metre long? My toy room at home is crowded enough, LOL. Seriously the Delta Force line of mono's look great and I hear very good things about them. I may start off with a Sniper 23 and upgrade the motor and ESC when I feel comfortable with the stock set up.

If that hull is anything like this one:

And you think you will have chop more than 2" then dont get it.

The SV27 with the deeper V should handle the chop better.

                  It is upgradeable as well.

If you want to upgrade right off the batt, motor, etc- theres some hulls on RCUniverse. Just buy the hardware then whatever motor/esc combo you want. Its cheaper than buying the SV27 RTR and parting stuff out...

We have done some pretty extensive testing on both the sv27 and the HOR 25" (prince). The HOR handles much better than the sv27. The stock electronics in it is shady though. Check out my thread in the video section under "furlough friday" both of these hulls can be found in there.

i would recommend a mono with a flood chamber in case you flip the boat it rights it self and you dont have to have some type of recovery system, not many company offer this but i know randy at bbyracing.com has made a flood chamber with his oval master 29" hull and has the template to do more of these versions, i have this hull and its great i think i am going to redo the hull for the flood chamber
