What kind of projest will be your nest offshore ???

    Hi,

what will be your next project? Mono, catamaran or other, single motor or twin?

Mine will be a MHZ Mystic or HM Freya MKII with a twin setup...

pfff could say next projects , i`m still finishing my H&M Agitator S Twin in Cintron Design with 2 outrunners on 3s lipo , Andres Schink Jolly Twin with 2x 540xl12 on 6s lipo for rough water and last is a MHZ Drambuie on Ice also Twin but i have to choose the motors yet.

I sold all my monos and cars for funding my projects .

I like hydros. So I will be building a Whiplash 21. The ridepads are spread wider than most hydros of the same size which really makes a great handling hull.

                Skunkworks Catamaran

Just got my Skunkworks Cat in the mail tonight (beautiful boat by the way). I do not plan to start on it until winter. Need to get the current projects in the water first. Still a major debate on twins or a nice single, but I will create a thread and let you guys school me on that later.

I'm looking at one of the self-righting rescue boats. No speed needed but just to watch it take a beating in small waves is amazing. Yes, Balsa and will definatley need help from SimonO!

Surely many of the boats in this thread are not really intended for Offshore...???
or are some of you actually running hydros in Offshore?

Maybe not offshore class, but same conditions we run Class 1 offshore in :P

                            Sprintcat 40, offshore

                            Carbon Cyclone, Class 1 offshore

Big Rigger should be able to run in a majority of conditions

                              Cats I get.
...and I've seen some of those Ocean racing riggers they run in Asia with the fullsize chase-boats.
...just wondering if poeple are actually trying some odd hulls in offshore classes.

I run a Mini Mogli in LSO and it is the oddball in that class in our club. Always looking for other ideas.
