how about a quad feigao. 10xl's on the outsides and 12xl's on inside's? power on inside 2 and speed from outside 2. jeez this thread is getting fun on someone elses budget!!

I wish I could find the picture of the boat with five motors and drives in it. They had to stagger them so they would fit in the width of the hull. I dont thnk you would be able to turn it.

Good luck with the project. It will be interesting to see how you guys overcome the issues associated with twin screws in a mono.

I meant that a boat with 4 or 5 motors would be hard to turn.

It would be like trying to turn a race car with a locked positrac rear end.

yeah i guess. over on rum runners one is being powered with a lehner 3080 at 3.7 hp. ours will have 4.9


that brings my next question. do you think a 56" could be reliably powered by 5 hp? we like the looks of that hull much better

Ask the guy who has a 54" x 18" vee with 13hp and goes 50mph w/o getting warm.......
