    What 120a ESC's are available?

    So far I've found:

HK Turnigy 120a ~$50 (no stock)
    HK Aquastar 120a ~ $60
    Sea King 120a ~$85
    Swordfish 120a ~$80
Castle Hydra 120a ~$177 (no stock)

    Any others?

Just one good working pair. I'm having a run of bad luck with mine.

The Turnigy just quit mysteriously and the Aquastar just exploded when I plugged it in today. (different boats, packs, radio, setups..)

Could go with the Turnigy 180...seems to be a good controller and for $77 bucks, its hard to go wrong.

Yeah, I was wondering about that.

So the Turnigy 120a & the Sea King are same and the Aquastar and the Swordfish are the same Heifei.

...and the Turnigy 180 is a hobbywing car esc that has been converted.

I'm in the market for a new one too seeing how i smoked mine on the weekend.
The Aquastar and Swordfish doesn't seem to have the option to set the lvc to
3.4 for 2S lipos.I see the Seaking is about 35.00 more then the turnigy which
aren't in stock but the Seaking is just a matter how to wait.

Since HC is out of the Turnigy model, I just ordered the one from Hobby Hot that comes with the program card.

I wonder if dual 180's would fit in an EKOS.

No space, 180 is a monster. Why not just go with 90A? Motor are only rated to 75 peak.

Aquastars are in stock and give you a little more room to grow at 120a.......

HEY GUY!S on the Turnigy 120's the brass cooling fitting are not tight, they are threaded in the aluminum plate and have no sealant on the threads. one of my friends found this out the hard way!

Have you tried the Himodel GX200? Another cheap option with added capacity. Less then $135 for 2 delivered.
