I've smoked a few Aquastars on my blackjack twin. Not 100% sure what the deal was.

Ah yes, I recall reading about doing water cooled conversions on them. That might be a good option. Was it an ETTI cooling plate? Like this? http://www.himodel.com/electric/60x_...ing_Plate.html

That would be a nice ESC, I could use it elsewhere too. Thanks!!

There is also the ETTI 150, which appears to be on the level of the Hydra?

60%... Cheap Chinese parts... 60% success rate that is... I really need to quit messing with the cheap stuff... I get caught up in silly price games not taking into account how much grief and extra cost they are in the long run...

US shipper that has them in stock. I've ordered from them a couple times when I wasn't placing a larger order from HK. Good by me. Has the program card available too.

Yeah, I was wondering about that.

So the Turnigy 120a & the Sea King are same and the Aquastar and the Swordfish are the same Heifei.

...and the Turnigy 180 is a hobbywing car esc that has been converted.

LMAO! I didn't even think about that. I'm so not global minded.

BTW- the rip was on cheap, not chinese. Isn't everything electronic made in China now? (a good amount is)

Definately go turnigy/hobbywing 180.... they are a little large, I've got 4 of them and am super happy with them.... a great esc for the money, in fact I wouldn't sell any of them as they are worth every penny!
