For those of us me included who thought the chinese esc are a viable alternative to the hydra's read these emails from the bottom. I have recently purchased two hydra 120's and yes one was stuffed on first use but there warranty will FIX IT NO PROBLEMS the feigao on the other hand.As I have said on RRR check out the dates I think they thought I would just go away.NO CHANCE but I will happily let every know if they eventualy replace it.
have tested this plate when you stated that this was caused by water.I used main tap pressure wich is way over any pressure from running boat and it did not leak a drop.

Please just send me a picture for reference. We just want to make sure that this won't be a problem for ESC burned. I'm asking for special approval for your ESC replacement and need more information.

Would like to know what you are doing about your exploding esc? All products have some warranty, and will be giving my remaining esc to a electrical engineer to find out how it torched itself.

As I said in my earlier email that the boat went 30-40 mtr onto the
lake. By the time we retrieved it that is what was found. Yes I find it
hard to believe as have had a esc failure before and this was definitely
way beyond anything I have experienced or seen before. Quite scary when
you think the only reason my boat did not burn is because the hull is so
well sealed that the fire would of gone out due to lack of oxygen.

Hi Andrew,
Ok, let me try to understand: it was just a test on the ground. When
power up and test ESC, it burned. right? Normally burn MOFETs only
happened on power module part. But we can see from your pics, all
circuit pack burned include control board. We've never face this kind
of situation. So we'd like to know more details what happened. What's
your test conditions.
Please advise.

Alex

torch my boat or it would cost YOU more than your esc. It is pity really
as I like these esc but your lack of warranty means I will no longer

everyone who will listen on the rc forums Not to use your product
