Try lifting it straight up. I think your strut may allow this. You may have to notch it where the stuffing tube comes out.
Don't worry though, these are just new boat woes, you will get it dialed in then love it. Well, then you will change props or motors for more speed then this starts all over again:-)

Ok, well, in that case, chuck it and buy a new hull.

I had a BBY OM29 (Same bottom) That bounced and wobbled all over the place. The best thing to settle the boat (recommended by Randy) was having the stuffing tube @ 1/2" above the keel, strut level with keel, trim tabs 1 1/2" out from keel, rudders tucked under 1.5 degrees and cog @ 7 1/2". Give Randy a call. He can help you set it up. Great guy and stands by his products.

Take a look at this. Is this what your boat does?
This is the second run with a BBY Oval Master 29. Still trying to get a handle on the setup.

A flat hop is caused by the prop being too low on the transom. the prop is lifting the whole boat out of the water. I recommend the center line of the prop shaft to be 3/8 to 1/2 of an inch above the transom. I also recommend the strut to be parallel to the bottom of the keel. I also run the prop a lot closer to the transom it is less of a leaver and you get less lift that way.

Hope this help you, it does work with my boat.

randy, any other methods to achieve the same results? moving the strut up would involve an almost total rebuild of the boat. however i can prob get it a lil higher than it is now will deffenatly give that a try. how about a low lift prop or something?

No what your trying to aclompish is getting the boat deeper in the water. Lifting props will worsen the goal. Trust me if you dont get that prop up higher you'll have a hard time getting that thing settled.

what i ment was switching to a prop that produces less lift. that along with raising the stinger as much as i can. im trying to avoid raising the stuffing tube as i will have to pretty much rip everything outta the hull along with some carbon fibre to get to it.. jus thnking of other things i can try

It is the best fix, You can take off the strut and put tape over the holes and epoxy them,..... then drill new. A lot easer in the long run.
