    SV ESC and a 10xl

I have hooked up a SuperVee esc with a 10xl fiegao motor. I figured that the 10xl is roughly the same type of motor as comes with the SV. The boat is a nostep m&H that is 23" long. Think it will not fry with a small prop??

the XL is much bigger and will pull more amps than what the speedo will allow plus the kv is much lower
a 12L is a much better choice, faster and pulls less amps

Thanks Doby, I am going to test it out today, we will see how it goes. I am just going to run it with some CF props that are small.

Well, it ran great! Really a nice boat and very fast. I need a new GPS to get some numbers, but it was covering the entire pond very quickly. Ran it for about 4 minutes and the temps looked good on everything. I just used a CF 3blade that comes with the SV. That worked well. I have some new props coming in this week so I will give them a try.

I run the 9xl in a Blackjack with that conrtoller and a SV prop and it hits the 40mph mark with good temps consistently. Glad it worked well for you.

As Doby mentioned be very carefull with the application...prop, boat etc.
That Esc is not rated for high amp/voltage applications.
