    seen a good one on another forum a couple months back
    " adding extra caps to a esc gives lots more power, it stores electricity in them and when you need a big boost it lets it out" wtf
    unfortunately one person says such rubbish and others none the wiser spread it

        Adding caps to Aquacraft ESCs does make them live longer when you push them in P spec setups . Works for me !

          yes when a esc is pushed it can help,but there nothing more than a filter to help with voltage spikes

              Let's not forget agressive voltage spikes destroy ESC's. But - High discharge batteries and 2P setups will relieve these spikes similar to adding caps in an ESC.

              It's always important to provide adequate power that the motor may demand.

                That's what I think kept going on with the Brushless Erevo when they first came out.. low C rated batteries jacked the esc..
