    Power Glitches

    hello,
Just installed a new swordfish esc. I have a power glitch when running mid to full throttle, somtimes low throttle getting the hull to plane. This happends with 2c1p and 3c1p. Boat will go then studder with throttle steady I have tried the lvc on auto and manual settings. With the boat out of the water the throttle seems to respond fine. This happens 80% of the time when slowing for turns. I have also calabrated the throttle stick as recomended. Any one had to fix a sporatic boat before?

    How good are your batteries?

Crappy cells can "seem" fine with no load (out of the water).

What is the motor and what do you have the timing set to?

I am using a proboat 2900kv motor out of widowmaker.
The timing for the esc is set to the default setting(not to keen on this setting)- Auto
The PWM rate (dont know what that does) set to default- 8KHz.
I do see a throttle range in the manual for 640uS - I am using the original rx,tx from proboat.

ive got the same motor and similar problem fully charged batts i even put it on nimh to make sure lol i think it was the initial torq setting soft or hard sart limits the load that can be placed on the esc example you gun your boat and it cuts off but you can ease into the throttle slowly to full let off and gun it it cuts off lol every time try it and see
How many amps do i need ? screw it let it burn.

Have either of you tried using a receiver pack instead of the BEC? If not that is the first thing I would try.
