Very nice, Mr. Smock's son. Unfortunately, I'd have to buy a new vehicle in order to transport a setup of that size; my 'Fleet' only consists of two operational boats at the moment, so there's really no need for that at this time . . . .

I remember when I only had one boat, ahh, those were the good old days. I just thought I'd show off my rack.lol
Douggie I was going to put a window shaker in the trailer but I don't want to cut a hole in it and hurt it's resale value. Why you ask? Because I am a idiot and I plan on getting a larger trailer at some point.
I do however carry a squirrel cage fan in the summertime that will blow you out of your chair.

Great, thanks for all the input, have we any more?
I was leaning towards a box, but after seeing all the posts...
I think I'll make a sturdy PVC stand, or wood stand. Then find some straps to hold the boat in place, and some straps to carry the stand/boat combo in one hand.

Loews has double sided velcro type rolls about 1/2 " wide that work very well to strap the boats to pvc boat stands . It can be wrapped around the boat and stand and sticks to itself.
I was at Home Depot the other night looking at wheel barrels.. and wondering why theyre so ridiculously expensive. Then next to them, for about the same price as a mid grade barrel, they had this dump cart thing. Kinda like a garden wagon, air filled large tires, etc etc. I thought.. hmm, multi purpose, I can use it in the yard AND to haul my boats down to the lake. So I got one. Will post some pics later

When you're ready to sell it let me know. I'll give you what you paid for it plus a dollar.
i just make my cradle out pine moulding, wood dowels, and armaflex tubing, and vinyl strap for handles, work well, boat does not slip on tubing.
then at last week in a quiet moment at work,
i made a nice polished stainless steel one, never have enough bling....

SS is cool
I assume the haul of your boat doesn't actually come in contact with the wood/metal, meaning it is fully supported by the tubing, correct?
