    Prop Suggestions for Matrix Rigger?

I just picked up a Matrix and before I get too far with powerplant setup, I'd like to know what props everyone has had success with.

    Thanks!

Thanks. I did a search and have been reading several of the threads here on OSE and RRR. I was hoping that others have had time to refine their setups and be able to share their experience.

I have a matrix rigger that uses a UL-1 motor on 4s. I use a octura x445 . I ran it at the local club meet . They said it was plenty fast . I hope this helps.

You are going about it all backwards. Choose the motor, ESC and packs first, position them in the boat to get the CG, then find the prop. A good prop for a 4S UL-1 setup will not be the same for an Neu 1515/1Y or for any N-2 setup. Tell us the power, then we can be of more help.

OK you caught me fishing for other's setups.

I'm thinking 4s1p, MarinePower EON33 4550 mah, with Nemesis 6XL. I do have some other options available. I've also been toying with 2s2p, same batts, with a Lehner Basic 5000 XL.

              Thanks, I'm humble.

I'll take a punt here and will take the flames if needed as that is my vocation.

For a 6XL on 4S in a rigger a good kick off is a X637 if you have one handy.
My big rigger that has the same power setup uses a 637 for fun and then a 640 for real fun and a 642 for not so much fun but nuts out speed. !!

                There ya go Ben !!
X6 props all round.....Get Andy or Chuck to tweak you a 642 and you will have smiles from here to Christmas.
                See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

Same props here, I had a 3s 2p Matrix with a Neu 1512 1.5D and started with a X637, then a X640 and the X642 was starting to show high temps on the lipos. All three props were de-tougued and back cut.

Ben, I have a spare X637 that I'll probably never use. If you want it, it's yours.

Mike, I'm was going to try the Matrix tonight or tomorrow. It's funny. I thought I had an x637, but all I have is a V937/3 and an x437/3 that's more oriented for a mono. If you don't think you'll use it, then I'd love to have it.

I have an extra x632 if you're interested or have the need.

                        Thanks!!!

PM me your address and I'll get it in the mail. You'll have it by the weekend. Don't need the 632 but thanks for the offer.

                            PM sent. Thanks Mike!

Is there anything else you need? I've got some other parts sitting around. Just let me know.

No Problem Bro. It's in the mail. Should be there by mid week.

I'll be in your neck of the woods the last week in August. Going to take a week long vacation in VA Beach in conjunction with the District 12 race that OD hosts. Hope we can see the band playing if you have a gig scheduled!
