You got it. I'll have to check, but I think Striper season will be in then as well!

Oct 4th on the Chesapeake. My family has a place in Reedville in the Nothern Neck. We'll have to get Team Fear together for some stiper action in the fall!!!

Mike, props made it today!!! Wow that was quick and just in time for the maiden voyage this evening! I think I'm going to start a little smaller to start though. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm testing first on a 2300kv motor before I move to higher kv. I want to check the balance and setup before going crazy.

        Thanks again!

Well she did great on the 2300kv motor and your detongued prop. I'd guess somewhere around 51-52. Setup was a little wet and I think I'm getting water in the stuffing tube. I'm going to try the old shrink tubing on the front of the strut and see if that helps.

Mike, I really appreciate you sending me those props. I think that once I put the other motor in, I'll be cruising mid to high 60's easy. My only concern is weight, but as I've said before, you never know unless you try.

Nice job Ben. Glad to help. You may want to get Chuck to do a little tune up on them.

The one seemed to spin true. If you crunch the numbers, you come up with the same speed at a loaded RPM of 27,900 or so.

On my 2779kv motor, after looking at the numbers, loaded I'll probably see around 35,000kv. If you turn that prop and adjust for slip, that equivocates to somewhere around 65mph with any luck. Now to find out if number lie... LOL
