In a 26" hydro I would recommend the aqua bl system. The 820 is waaaaaay to heavy. Its really meant for a large scale model.

In my opinion a 700 and jeti 600 are very, very reliable, the most reliable out there.

I would classify brushed and brushless like this. A brushed 700 system is like a tried and true chevy 350 engine. As reliable as it gets. A brushless system more like a engine with a turbo. Its definitely more powerful, but more attention to the details need to be made while in use.

You can get about 30mph out of the right size mono and about 35 plus out of a hydro without stressing the parts to failure with a 700 system.

ok so should i get brushed or brushless. i would like you go right to what i am going to end up with my setup. instead of brushed to better brushed then brushless to the best brushless. then i am wasting my money. less money in the long run.

It depends what kind of running you want to do, sport only, or are you looking to someday race the boat. If you want to race it with brushless get ready to fork out the doe to be competitive.
