    ABC Super Hawaii

I finally got an ABC Super Hawaii.

I'm wanting to speed it up. I guess the best way to go is to put in a 700bb. Is there anyone around who still knows how to do this? Please post some pictures. This is a really cool boat and I'm wanting to make it fast!

            Hey Doby:

Are using stock ABC drive units or did you have to switch to something stronger?

They are actualyl ProBoats outdrives from the Blackjack 26 , a lot of people hate outdrives, I use the stock hardware on my Blackjack 26 mod that I did this spring and it has stood up to much abuse ! I decided to use them on the SH mod and have had great results!:D

My SH came with the single out drive that is stock on the SH and it seems even tougher than the Probats , if I would have had 2, I would have used those without hesitation as long as its in good shape

I have done one of these. Go with the big 700sc on the stock drive for an easy upgrade. Remove the gearbox and go direct. If I where to do one again I would go with a SpeedMaster sitnger strut and an inline rudder on the 700sc for a brushed setup. A Feigao 9XL for a brushless setup. Be sure and reinforce the bottom before installing the motor mount. Feel free to PM me or email me for tech suport. I'll coatch you through it if you like.

jim i have a super hawaii just like yours. when i got it, it sill had the transmission in it with the plastic out drive. put a used 700 bb in it. used the stringer hardware. the 700 was used. no idea how many runs it had on it. worked well for one season. then i got the blue magic smoke. i then put a 700sc with 2-7 cell gp 3700 packs. that is in the front hatch for cog. the servo and rec is in the back closest to the transom. run a x445 bc prop. someone tell me how to download a pic on here and i can do it. i will look to see if i still have video of it running. Craig - Looks pretty darn fast to me! I assume that is the video of the 700bb motor. What do you mean when you say you used the "stringer" hardware?

Can you post any pictures of the inside showing how you set up the motor?

                            Thanks
