Do you guys think I'm going to be able to motivate that df sniper 44" with my lehner 2250 12t or should I start looking for a 2280 or bigger... I've been worrying about it all night... I own the boat now so need to decide what I'm gonna push it with....i already have the 2250 12t ....

Don't get me wrong. The neu 1527 is much more motor than the ammo, but the ammo will do better than the 9xl.

That Delta is going to be pretty heavy for the Lehner. I don't have too much experience with those motors. I did own a 1950/7 a while back, it was a great motor but a different ballpark all together.

I am working on a DF 41 splash hull right now. I'll have a Neu 2215/2y on 10s. I know the Neu motors are up to the task!!!

This is totally off the subject of the drifter l again but Im worried that I'm putting the wrong motor in my df 44 boat.... Maybe I should have bought a little screamers outrunner? It's just gonna be a sport boat... But i'd like to see 60 if possible... Maybe I should have put the 4035/800kv scorpion outrunner in the df that I bought for my aeromarine 44" team America cat and put the lehner in the cat? I got way to many projects going on.... I should probably stop buying boats now after this df.... What do you think a out an outrunner in the df and will the scorpion push it well?

I looked to german setups for this Drifter MKII,
Lehner 2240/10 and 2240/9 look good with 8S batteries

I also checked the H&M site. They do suggest the Lehner 2240/2250 for this hull. Looks like you have a possible winner...........

                              i was thinking a neu 1415 1.5y if wanting a 36mm can but i see there 36.5mm were a fiegao/nemises is 35.8 mm
if you want to keep the same motor mount maybe someone like peter zicha could machine it slightly larger

What do you gents think of the ammo motor rumdog suggested? I think it should fit right where the nemesis did... Do you all think so? I would run it on 6s2p maybe a x442 prop, and as long as their was a Teflon liner over the .130 shaft I will ditch the Teflon a change out to a wohlt .150 cable? What do you think? It's only a $99 motor so the investment would be minimal... If I got mid 50's out of the boat I would be pretty happy I guess.... I don't want to destroy the paint job on a violent blowover...lol. The neu sounds ok too but do you think it would be much more powerful then the nemesis. .. I went from a 10xl nemesis to neu 1515 1.5y in my mean machine and the nemesis actuay performed better.... I ran the 10xl on 5s and the 1515 1.5y on 6s and still the nemesis was stronger... Go figure?
