Thats one kick a$$ lookin motor. Scared to even ask what that would go for and at 5 HP it's twice as powerful as the g26pum motor.

        ?
that esc will not work for what your wanting to do..
my name comes from the fact I was going to do a brushless BJ55 and gave up on it because it would have been cheaper to run gas than big electronics at the time..
I just sold my BJ55 two weeks ago and now I'm going to build a 41" Cat..
I'm not sure if I'm going brushless or a RMCK motor?
but the Littlescreamers motor on 8s-10s and the esc Diesel6401 suggested would kick!

Why not? You say yourself that you haven't tried.

            why?
            try what?
because it is a 100A esc, much to small for this big hull and big motor!

I thought 14s could handle a 12s motor but if not What amp rating would you recommend?

What about batteries? I was thinking 2 6s maxamps
LiPo batteries and Lithium Ion batteries for UAV, UAS, VTOL and robotics. Assembled in the USA.

These at least have 60c ratings...

depending on motors used, you will need at least 5000mah and upto 10,000mah of battery
