So what is the diam. for the kb? will ose water jacket fit? which mount? I know they are a new addition to your stock but there isnt a whole lot of corresponding parts listed. 6mm shaft? will there be couplers made or just drill out old ones? Some questions have been answered but some remain un-answered.

The water jacket is listed on the same page.

The couplers are listed with the couplers. It takes a 6mm shaft.

The KB45 has a 6mm shaft. I went to a machine shop and it was going to cost me $27 dollars for the right type bit to drill it out. It could also shatter when doing this. I might try it in the future if I do not like the straight sleeve couplers that Steven sells. The mounting holes are also a different width apart on the Fiegao and KB45.

Here is a picture with a Fiegao 10XL and a KB45 10XL, side by side.

thats a beast of a motor , what is the amp draw of these motors, does a kb45 10 turn pull the same as a 10xl but with more torque? or is it more effecient?

I think the KB45 10XL (1200kv) is going to be more like a fiegao 14XL (1196kv) with more torque. Not sure about the amp draw. I am finishing up a KB45 10XL build this evening. Hopefully I can post some data soon.

If I am reading my DPR data stream correctly I was pulling on avarage 28.4 amps with a max of 80 amps. Thats on the 8XL @ 19 volts & a k42 prop pushing almost 8 pounds.

Did you ever figure out why everything was running so hot?

I am planning on starting out with a X440 prop, since I have no idea how many amps it is going to draw at 28.8 volts.
