I guess you are lucky. My point is you can get good ESCs elsewhere much cheaper. I do know of a few that warranty their own as well at 1/3rd the cost.

Certainly many have popped from wrong set ups, wet, etc but I never pretend they are the best ESC for the money.

Thanks, I do not want it to seem like I am bashing Castles. They are good but their QC could be better. When I hear they pop on hook up I cringe.

You can't beat their warranty but you also know they are building them for about the same price as the other guys so they can afford to repair some.

Try adjusting your throttle trim on radio. First make sure it is centered then go from there until it binds with radio/esc.

thanks detox..i have tried all kinds of settings with trim etc...i have a spektrum 2 channel dsr...i have all the latest updates too..i can program the esc with the usb programmer but it will not enter the calibrate mode...i guess i am frustrated after dropping 350 on it and not have it function..while my 79.00 turnigy 180 is simple and bulletproof so far...might have to get on the phone w/castle or just sell it in the swap shop for 100.00 and take a gross hit on the thing

EDIT And Im 99.9% sure.. Sea King, Turnigy, Top Edge and it looks like now also Flyermate are all the same esc's, just branded differently.. heres more of what I mean

Seaking-120A Water-cooling Brushless ESC for Boat V2 from manufacturer HOBBYWING, in category Brushless Speed Control (BL ESC) - Boats, Electric Speed Control (ESC).

Damn that .1% will burn you every time, lol...

The Flyermate is simply a BEC Hi-model or Mystery, double the price for waterproofing.

Or at least $20 more for conformal that you could do yourself for $5 -$10.

Flyermate and Hi-model only program through TX, no other way, yet...
