I finally decided to try one of these China esc's so I ordered a 120 amp unit to try out after one of my Hydra 120s decided to crap out. My first thoughts after receiving it, was "its a brick"!! here are a few pics next to the defunct Hydra 120. It has 2 huge capacitors on it (35v 1000uf) and the FETS are huge. I am anxious to get it in a boat with my eagle tree when the pond thaws. Its gonna cost me more to get the Hydra 120 fixed then what I paid for this, around $60 shipped!

Certainly as stable as the Castles are from all the input I have read on the many forums. Of course...most Castles pop when you plug them in if they are going to do it...then you only have to wait a month or two and get a new one.Comment
