Man, you aint Lyin' there.. The boy can design a radio controlled model watercraft that's for DANG sure.

I've yet to see a design of his that didn't work exceptionally well.
Always been a great platform for me to tweak in my setup. This boat planes out and flies like a hydro.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to divulge this, but in initial testing the ABS version of this tunnel chased down a hydro like a dog in the street both running the blue SV27 pspec systems!!!

isnt the hinge pin suppose to be inside the rear of the sponsors ?

        triangulation thank you spell check
Ok, now I know what you mean, and you by no means come off as a smart alleck..
The pin is closer to the drive because there would be FAR too much pivot involved, and the push pull rods would undergo far too much stress as well as the servo.

Just picture it and you'll understand.. The boat would probably hook immensely as well.

          thanks bill
yes i see how its done, what i was trying to ask was i am under they impression that for a tunnel to turn well, they pivotal point should be inside the rear of the sponsons.
not sure were i got this assumption. but as they say "assumption is the mother of all **** ups"

Does the carbon hull handle any different than the abs hull, also how strong is the abs hull ?.

The weight is about the same but the strength is much better with the FG. Edges are sharper So over all better handling.

Assumptions also solves problems with these things,
so your assuming things isn't a bad thing..
