52" G Freak needs more power

I was wondering if they were actually selling any of this stuff, so i went over to their feedback. Looks like they sell some, but not a lot. Too bad theres not a way to tell what their online store is doing.

Man, It's getting stupider by the minute !! A Motor with .95 HP and a SPEED CONTROL with .95 HP !! Wow ! Together thats 1.9 HP !!! And cooling cans that cover slightly more than half the can - machined out of a solid block of aluminum

Tony, I completely understand what you are saying... but on the note of selling sizzle and not the stake (great remark BTW), we all remember how disappointed we were when the first batch of UL's came out, if I recall well, even the support for it was being shunt.... I know I was disappointed and didn't even buy one, I just saw yours Tony's!
All I am saying is, we have spent 212 posts putting this guy down, we don't even know if he is trying to take advantage of buyers instead of helping him promote FE in this so called FE forum by suggesting betterment... last time I checked we are not doing so hot, with race attendance falling (even on SAW events) we need the push, so instead of beating this guy down, help him make his product a bit more "compliant" with the standards.
If the guy turns out to be a scam, I'll be the first one to burn his product, but so far I have seen an inexperienced boater with some over flamboyant selling technique.

PS: I am not trying to defend this person per say, it's the FE community I am concerned about.

Having the 32" from Imex.. again, same boat that G Freak is selling.. there is no way to compare it to AQ or Proboat. Ive got the BJ26, my first FE boat. Yeah, its got its issues, but it goes just as the online vids show and just as the LHS told me it would. I also have the SV27. That boat has rocked since day one. Only a couple mods to that boat (cooling jacket and different tabs) and it still was less money than the Gfreak (Imex in my situation) boat.

The Imex 32" cat cost me just under 4 bills, but did include a 3S lipo, but then took another almost 4 bills to get it running as it should. All new electronics, all new drive hardware, new motor mount. I ripped out all the stringers radio box mounts etc etc and built all new ones myself. Yes, I love that boat now.. and it proved itself to a fellow OSE member who came to my house yesterday and we ran several different boats for several hours. He was stunned how well that 32" cat handled and cornered.

I know this all started on the 52" hull, but you cat lovers out there, if you can find the 32" empty, get it. You will not be dissapointed.

But it is a shame how they are marketing these and suckering, what Im sure is, many, many people who think they are getting this boat that truly kicks butt and it is faaaaar from it with what they provide with it. And who knows, there is a good possibility the people getting it have no idea what they are even doing and may be 100% happy with it. I have found that many people who see one of my boats run, say "whats that doin, about 65-70mph?" And I look at them and say.. "well, that would be great if it was, but its actually doing about 40-45" and they just cant believe it because it looks so fast. I guess until youve seen enough boats run and get used to watching them and knowing about how fast they are going, its very easy to be mislead. SO G-Freak has to worry about the guy who is going to drop the gps in there and find his so called 80mpoh boat is doing 32. THEN.. they will have some very unhappy customers.

Ticks me off they just cant say it like it is.....

Im glad the LHS and I had no idea what I was getting into when I got mine. Cause if I was told it was an absolute 40mph boat and handled well. Both still would have been lies. In my LHS's defense, he did offer me the chance to return it many times. I kept telling him, "nope, I see the potential in this hull and I will get it there."

Wake, that was great. I will go 9k if you can get it to 85mph. That roost had to be 14 feet tall and 60 feet plus behind the boat. Beautiful work my friend..

I cant get the stage 8.5 to run 85. Stage 9 will be comming out soon with high hopes for 90

If someone from G-Freak was reading this... that would mean they would.. or SHOULD at least be more knowledgeable about what they are doing.. then wakeboard fusion wouldnt have to run is CAT off Special K... which by the way is absolutely hillarious. Reading it is one thing. Seeing it brings it to the next level.
