    Titan Hardware

Hi, Attached photos of the hardware. The Stinger is the one I use and you can use
the rudder on the photo. It is perfect for the Titan 29. Regards
    Norman,
PS. I did cut the stinger 1/2" shorter

Here's one possibility on hardware setup : Speedmaster stinger cut down (not necessary), .21 size rudder cut down to 4 1/8", rudder slightly canted to counterract torque roll, large tabs - minor increase in drag but way better in preventing blowovers, rudder as close to prop as possible - in LSO left turns need to keep rudder in water when heeled over, servo arm to right of rudder to have servo "pull" on right turns (not necessary). OSE fins. Just one possible take on setup, but it works for me, especially for LSO.

Gotcha... any science to the amount of canting on the rudder or is it trial and error? One thing I haven't seen anywhere is a linkage / pushrod for the rudder. Does anyone sell them or is it just a matter of bending some z's in stainless wire?

You can get the pushrods and clevis from your local Hobby Shop. If you copy Properchoppers
hardware placement you will be fine. Just follow the pictures and instructions he posted and
you are set. Doesn't get any better with that setup. Regards
