    I raced a Pistolero 22 for years with a stinger, worked very very well. You do have to use a small one though....

                        First, I remove all the HW. Remove the stuffing tube too. Get a big sanding block and sand the transom flat again. Once flat, Use hatch tape to cover all the holes in the transom. lay the transom flat (so that the bow of the boat is pointing up). mix up some epoxy with a pinch of microballoons. Next, pour the mixture into the holes in the transom. Once dry, peel the tape, and sand smooth.

                            Thats the same method I used to plug the water outlet in the mini hydro. The ony difference is I layed some cloth on that. I just could not get in there with my short fat fingers.

                                Looking good Danny boy. I have a 41'' DF mono that is in need of a transom makeover. I was thinking of epoxying some carbon fiber plate to it. Now that I have seen your job I think I will do it like this. I'll save the carbon to make some motor and servo mounts.
