I'm sure you make quality hulls. At this point I would rather save a few more bucks and get the carbon one for the price. This is ment to be a budget upgrade not an all out build.

I have the CF one it is sweet. I also have the FG in the OM26 and really I can not tell the differance in preformance unless your running a SV27 or a pro boat motor. With a Neu and Lipo the weight does not matter.

        What!
are you saying I need to sell my Titan 29 and build a OM29?

Well I accuired a OM29 from Tunda. I ran her for the first time today. She was all over the place! It was really choppy and she did not flip once! It has some torque roll and walk big time. I started to get her dialed in a little better but then she stopped in the middle of nowhere. Brought her in with the rescue craft think I lost a prop. Nope prop still there. Upon inspection I realized that my collet is the wrong size lol. I will make a new shaft and try it out tomorrow morning.

Randy you got any setup tips for me? I'm using a 12l 4s1p with a x440.

Much aloha to Tunda for setting me up with this boat.

Well I took her out for the second time. Getting better but not there yet. Had some grimlins with my PiStix in the morning so had to deal with the rain in the afternoon. Still trying to get the setup correct. It looses speed in the corners and dances around in the straights. I think it may need a deeper strut.

Heres a sample vid of the run.

This is the second run with a BBY Oval Master 29. Still trying to get a handle on the setup.

Well there is nothing in the water. You need to raise the strut to 3/8 of an inch to 1/2 inch center line of the strut from the keal. Then you will need to de lift the prop untill it drives like you like it. I am including a picture. I also moved the trim tabs to 2 inches fron the keal.

Well I raised it to 3/8" (thats all it can go up) level with the keel. Big difference. Drives much better now. Hold the speed better through the corners also. Still a little off but MUCH better. It also runs cooler and pulls about 15 amps less.

                  Aloha Baked..

Randy, can you explain this a little more to me?
I have a boat that does this to and I do not understand how this helps or even works..
                    Thanks

When I called Randy today he explained it to me. Basically your trying to get the transome deeper in the water. That's what I was trying to do but I was heading in the wrong direction by lowering the strut making it worst.

Hopefully Randy can clear this up if I got it wrong

randy do you offset the strut to the right for torque, i have a om29 i am putting back together and this time i will use a deeper rudder oppose prop walk

i did a fiberglass inlay with narrow stringers and wood on the floor where batteries are, super stiff and added some weight
