Ovalmaster 29 or Delta Force 29

Trying to decide between the two. Will not be racing but would like a good handleing boat. Delta force is fiberglass and the Ovalmaster is ABS. What are your opinions between the two.

Randy's got a FG OM 29. Best handling hull you'll ever run. He'll even make you one with the Patriot top - I know 'cause I'm thinking of one for myself.

Are the fiberglass version a special make? I see a carbon fiber one but a little out of my price range.

Give Randy a call [ after 11 AM PST] or e-mail/ PM him. Pretty sure he can hook you up quite reasonably with a FG one right now. There's a recent vid [its here somewhere] of one he did up with a flood chamber & a Proboat motor for P-Spec LSO & it's gonna' kick my Titan 29's butt at WW VI, just like Dave Newland's OM 29 did the last two years in AZ.

George, I'll give Randy a call today & make sure he treats you well. I'll try to locate the vid of the OM 29 with the flood chamber that Randy posted recently. If you intend to run in the ocean, the flood chamber would be a nice addition, think about that ! BTW, I did sell the Drifter with the 8XL.

Yeah I saw that but I don't need hardware. Trying to keep costs down. I was very tempted though.

for offshore, you have to have a 1" freeboard. I doubt the DF29 will meet that spec.
