Agreed !! With a m545 on 12 in the marina into the wind she did a hydro-like Blow-over [ whoosh/splat!!] Had to change my shorts after that one :D[/QUOTE]
Yeah when the Titans take flight it's like they just hang there. Ever had a boat pass you while you're airborn??

we had a slight incident with the Titan tonight......couldn't really get her up to speed, more heat than usual everywhere....reset the ESC and let Steve run her with the 16 - IB3600's, he had a good run going down the backstretch when she caught a nasty wave and barrelrolled 2 or 3 times at 39.2mph
, caught the bow and flipped around landing on her roof ripping the hatch right off her
.....flopped back over and he limped her in.....hatch in tow.....lferguson deserves alot of credit for building such a sturdy craft.....I'll need to do some fiberglass repair in spots but she seems decent......luckily I observed your precautions and taped her fully....not a drop of water in her after such a vicious crash. I believe it was D.Smock who said be careful what you strive for....reaching a top speed is cool but sometimes it comes at a substantial cost. Today I almost lost my 4-figure Titan. Was it worth it?????

I'm amazed at what type of abuse these fragile little "toys" can handle. From what I hear we are doing pretty good speed wise for a Titan and our set-up. Should we be expecting more than 40mph with 16 cells, Hydra 240, 9XL and a 42mm CF prop???? Also, we only get 2 laps (approx. 1/2-3/4mi.) before we bring her in. Anything more and she gets a little too warm (110F motor, 125F packs, ESC never over 100F). We need to work on our efficiency!!!Comment

42.9mph in some big chop, wind and 3' rollers. This thing will fly. She walks all over the place and is on the hairy edge. I had 8 fishermen stop fishing and just watch her scream. So much fun! I know she'll do 50 with a little more tweaking. The damn Garmin GPS 72 weighs a ton. She would go alot faster if I didn't care about her topend speed. She was jumping 6' at a time over the rollers! Nasty stuff!!!!Comment
