40 MPH Titan-29

We finally got past 40 mph with some pretty rough water. Finished running and water went smooth as you can see in the pics. We lost a 6-cell pack and a 7-cell pack before we ran the 8's. Everything was cool and no major issues. Oh yeah, with a 42mm CF prop!:D

I see everyone is dropping down in turns on these feagio motors. I too have learned not to be so scared of over drawing amps. either the motors arent as vicious as we were told or the esc's are just that strong. kinda interesting

Good Job ! Love that boat. I run the same setup on mine, usually on 12 cells. Just ordered some Lipos & will fire up the gps & see if I can catch you ! BTW, great looking paint job ; makes it easier to see in racewater !

Thanks guys, yeah the paint job has a function......we (and others) can see her more easily and we know which direction she's going.....lol.....yeah, that actually was a problem for us. Mich, I'm sure the Hydra 240 will never see enough amps. Our temps were all below 90F and the packs were around 105F. She loves the cooler water. Thanks for the helpful hints Doug! And Scott, sorry about the terrible paint job on the Cat. She deserves better!!!! S7, we got 17mph out of the SW26 on 7-cell pack. +2mph just by greasing the shaft!

The pics are of my GF's son, Steve....he was able to go 38mph for his new top speed.:D Oh BTW, 40mph with a Titan is stupid fast....we submarined on the first lap!!!

yeah, too bad my SW26 wont be running again till it gets that jet drive....

still though, my OM21 is probably doing the same or even faster than that.....i should try a 7 cell sometime soon...

Agreed !! With a m545 on 12 in the marina into the wind she did a hydro-like Blow-over [ whoosh/splat!!] Had to change my shorts after that one :D

lol.....yeah, my buddy says, "why are you shaking?", I said, "it's because I have over a grand out there getting kicked around by the chop (not proper, not yet) and the wind!!! ....I've been getting worn out with all the issues lately but am glad I stuck with it.....there's nothing like FE's....people come from 1/2 mi. away to see what "that" sound is.

thats funny!!! when people say thats a fast gas boat, I smile and tell them nope its electric, it runs on 24, energizer AA batteries!:D
