My suggestion is the "T37" from Tippecanoe Boats. The Kit is 170 and contains everything you need except paint. It includes radio, servos, epoxy, etc. When you're done you have a beautiful wooden boat that outsails the Victoria's etc. It is very easy to build and fun as well. I agree, but the price of the T37 went up to $265.00.
I used to be a full scale sailor until my back gave out. I like 'blow boater' but the real term is "rag bagger" while power boaters are "stink potters". Just a bit of nautical trivia.
