Yes its a big hull, and seems well under powered and only spinning a 225 prop. Hull looks good though, wonder if a 22 series and 8s will fit?

I will take the chance on it. When its released I will buy one. I think it will run in the 25 mph range. If thats the case it will be a worthy rtr boat.

              Remember this boat.

I have one. It runs about 15-18mph with a 550 motor and a 8 cell pack. Sure the ThunderTiger boat is not going to be a race boat, but if priced right and runs 25 or so it will crush some waves without flipping so easy.

I don't know about the electric version of this, but its nitro counter part does fine in a race a, guy in the Northern Colorado Nitro Burners club stuck a MAC .45 in it flat hauls the mail, and with a little tuning it handled wind and race water great. He was very impressed.

I meant out of the box as a race boat. Its just to big and underpowered in their electric version.

I read somewhere a couple of months ago that it is a real dog. At that price, why bother to find out?

I normally vacation in a very small cove off of a very large lake. Since the kids are getting bigger, we will hopefully start to vacation on the larger part of the lake. The waves are huge, so the mini vee won't cut it any longer. But the price seems very high for whats included.

Whoever said its a dog was estimating since it hasn't been released yet.
