    Mystery Brushless ESC

After accuiring a Mystery 80A speed controller from DiegoBoy I have endlessly searched many forums for programming this thing. After finding a whole bunch of different "Programming" procedures heres the one that works. Found right here on OSE.

    1) - - - Brake On
    2) -- -- -- Brake Off
    3).- .- .- NiCd/NiMh
    4).-- .-- .-- LiPo
    5)..- ..- ..- Soft Startup
    6)..-- ..-- ..-- Hard Startup
    7)...- ...- ...- Soft Timing
    8)...-- ...-- ...-- Hard Timing
    9).... .... .... Reset to factory settings
You can change multiple settings at a time. Start at full throttle and after the little music notes it will sound those codes for that parameter. Once you hear the code for the parameter that you want to change go full brake quickly then back to full throttle. When at full brake you should've hear a single beep meaning you set that parameter, then it will start from the begining and you do the same for any other parameter you want to change. when done return throttle to neautral postion and you will hear the startup tone followed by one or two beeps depending on which brake setting you chose.

NOTE: I use a Airtronics FM 75mhz radio and I need to use a PiStix for it to work.

Well mines died on Sunday. I don't think these are a bad deal though. I wasgoing to order a couple of those 200a and try them out again. I have mixed feelings about them. They run great when it did run but that was only two 3-4 minute runs. It never got hot, just stopped working then they seem to short out (made the batteries and connectors hot in a second). They are very cheap though.

...for about $40 you would hope for at least 40 runs. Ide be happy with that. Im wondering just how hard you can push these???? Im going to install this in my cat and run an Octura X445 prop, 9XL with 6s. Ill run it only for about a minute to see just how fast she will go.

Has anyone tried one of the Mystery 200 Amp ESCs with a JR FM 75Mhz radio? I was thinking about getting one of these ESCs but I want to know if it will work without a PiStix adapter.
              Thanks,
              Brad

I know I couldn't get mines to go without one. Don't know about your radio/esc combo though.
