So I have 11 FE boats. whats your point. I have only been doing FE boats 2 years. and I value every ones advice.

True Jeepers, but some advice is not always correct.

Again, it is a learning curve and we all learn from each others mistakes and positive moves. To share info is great.

well let me just say.
like most people said advice is advice.
there is wrong advice but then it's only advice.
you take with a grain of salt and hope it's right.
but there is a point where spreading stupid advise is just wrong. especially when people trust you.
I have not read many posts by Saleen but on occasion has been off. So i can not make a fair assumption to say he is off his rocker. But i have not read any that were WAY off and just totaly dumb. I'm not saying they are not out there, they quit possibly are but people have to understand this hobby is full of options and opinions and you have differ from what is right and what is wrong.
Flying Scotsman May be right on the money. There may be posts by saleen that are tremendously wrong. But it is advice.

I agree with this point of view being disputed in a pm. I have posted opinions that should have been left to pm or myself. I have also posted tech advice that has been proven inacurate. But hey "it" happens. It is part of this process. Our active core members are what keep this forum alive. It is helpfull to always have some one here in any capaticy to lend a newb a hand. Saleens knows the basics and even if we have herd them 100 times the newbs havent.

i dont consider it a personal attack, he is just giving his opinion....he has a right to believe what he wants to....i agree with taylor, sometimes i have been off in my advise, but if i am, im usually corrected and i now know what was off so i dont contune to use the incorrect advise...

Alex, we all learn. I have made more cash mistakes with boats, that you can think of. Save your loot and buy the best you can afford.

I agree that Flying Scotsman should have thought his move out better and used the PM feature rather than a public thread for airing out dirty laundry. With that said, I think Flying Scotsman has caused more harm than Saleens7 ever has with "off" advice.
