What do you think about XPower?

    Hi,

Do you use XPower motors and what do you think about those motors? The characteristics are similar to Feigao engines, those 3674 series are XL size
    Thank you for your help

Send me a couple of the 7 winds and I'll let you know how they go. 3 would be better as I get a spare motor to do some really crazy things with.
If you really want these tested under harsh conditions then I am willing to do that for you.
Let me know, and I'll set up hulls to suit.

If they are like the Feigao motor then they will be fine for most sport / fun runs.
For Saw or record runs you may need to shoot a little higher.
    I like the Feigao motors.
    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

They are a step down from the feigao. They are not made by x-power.

Are they actually made by Keda motors? Just relabeled?!

            Thanks Steven!
Ok then, is it worth buying the cheaper Xpower over the Feigao? The price difference is ~$20. Will the Xpower be more expensive in the long run than the Feigao? Broken bearings etc...

HI Brushless, can you be more specific? How did it actually quit? Bearings gave up? Wire broke? Burned down? What happened?

                    It acts like it demagnatized?
every thing spins free, and looks good, but will not run well..
now it gets really hot when I hold the motor in my hand and rev it up and it makes a squell sound..

Take out the rotor, if it doesn't have strong magnetic attraction, its de-maged.

The reason I stopped selling the Keda motors was that it was to much of a hit and miss. I had way to many returns from that line of motors.

Thanks for your input Steven! That's what I was thinking of. If you're lucky it's fine, but if not, you've thrown $50 out the window. I need two motors for my twin setup, thus in my case it's even more problematic. I think I'll stay with the Feigaos and pay a bit more.
