DTJr definitely has the skill (and practice) it takes to consistently drive hard and to have his equipment prepared, both on the bench and on the water.

            Chuck,

It's great how guys work together to pull these things off, you are very correct!

He's lucky to have Eddie helping! I always had one or two of my boys helping out and it was all I could do to keep competitive in 3 classes.

            Andy

BTW, I think you meant coolie. Eddie is a heck of a lot more than that.

The BEST driving I've ever done was done in LSO at the 2008 Nats with Doug Twaits, Jr. talking in my ear as my co-driver... He has nothing less than my full respect as a driver! He wins races because he's THAT good! Watching him and Brian going at it on the course is truely a site... I highly recommend it!

Larry, It's Oct 11th @ Ford Field in Shelby Twp.

23 Mile just west of Van Dyke. Right across the street from the McDonalds...

The GrimRacer is coming in for the day also. Hoping all the UL-1 guys show up. Miss Bardahl is staying home, but the Hooter's UL-8 will be there to take some points. Should have run her at the Nat's, but I was too proud of the Bardahl, being scratch built and fast. But I think the UL with her weight might have been a little more successful.

True enough 7 hour drive for a one day race.. looking forward to hanging with you as well..

I have that weekend open and have my UL-1 "just" about ready.

Im traveling light and will likely only bring my UL-1.. I will have to see if I can have my SV ready in time.

I would realy like to use this race as not only my FE race fix for 09 but an open discustion about our products and how we might be able to better serve the FE racers. I realy dont want to have to "Work" at the race but I feel we owe it to the gang to listen to there input (Face to Face) should they want to give it.

ROCK ON and look for the Yellow IL escape rocket in MI soon!
