I like your SS21 setup with motor in the back. This allows more room for batteries up front. The way I have my motor mounted upfront/center does not allow me to use just any size of battery. I cannot fit a battery wider than 43mm using Nue 1515 size motor with cooling jacket or large 580 motors.
I once tried running my SS21 with everything shifted forward, but hull seemed to be running too wet. Maybe my strut/prop was adjusted wrong causing this.
Longer runs of cable thru the stuffing tube also causes more cable vibration or resonace IMO. Adding S shape to stuffing tube should help my situation.
