I came across a formula somewhere the other day, Im pretty sure it was on OSE,
about discharge rates. The formula was:
mah X "C"rating / 1000 = Discharge rate
That being said, running 5000 mah batts @ 30C your discharge rate is 150A? So, my question is, is that in relation to what the ESC is? So if Im running a PB ESC that is a 45A ESC, Im overloading it by 105A? Something doesnt seem right about that.... or is the discharge rate specific only to the batt??? This is baffling me because Im trying to look at it several different ways and dont think Im applying it correctly...
Thanks,
Scott
PS, sorry if this is a dumb question..... sometimes its easy to overlook the obvious.
