keep in mind Brian ran Nihms and they have more weight and less power... running 4s2p will probably be a good replacement for the "Q" boat he had at the time.

Then he had a KILLER Modified prop to get 80mph out of a 31 1/2" Hydro with that kind of weight with Nimh batterys.LMT

I don't have any picks or vids of that boat.
What I mean by picky about turnfin is that it's sensitive to setup. The bracket and fin need to be strong. Of course I was carrying nearly 3 lb of batteries. My setup probably doesn't apply to the modern power systems.
Mark Grim modded a V947 for me for that boat.Brian "Snowman" Buaas

What impressed me was the way that Brian's boat ran. A guy in our club had one of similar vintage and it never ran decently. It hopped, skittered, and jumped its way down the straight. Then when we thought we had it running okay, it would take a wild jump in a turn and bottom-hunt. We tried about everything - except bottom mods - and it never did run well.
H&M did revise the hull several years ago, hope its better now: "Mk IV Completely revised underwater hull, 2-fold consecutive swimmer-enhanced generously cut cap designed for e-driver..."

I have one of these hulls, runs pretty good, although my set up might be too mild for you. I don't have any interior pics, but I do have a vid.
It is running an 8xl, hydra 240, X640 and 30c 3300 4s2p.

Iv also checked over at Hyperformance Products at there Sport 21/45 Hulls and I think from just the only two pictures they have on the website it looks to be a pretty sweet hull, but theres something about them I don't trust, Iv called the owner a few times and asked in several phone calls and Email's to see if he could send me more photos of the inside and maybe a few shots other than what I have already seen. He still yet to this day after 3-4 emails won't respond and said that he would try and send me photos from the manual. Id really like to see this hull into a brushless setup.LMT

Nice, Looks like she runs good, Did you just happen to get the yellow hull or did you paint it?

Some of the HyPerformance hulls are old Maus Motorsports hulls from the 1990s. They were okay performing hulls back then, but we didn't have near the power we do today. The .21 is decent sized at 33.5"; I'd not want to run a P Sport Hydro much smaller than that were I live, although others do.

The H&M .21 has a totally redesigned sponson, as of 2003. According to the disctributors. I have seen this hull run with nitro power, and it was fast, and no hopping concerns. just some further info on the hull.
Mine is almost finished with paint, I will give some photos etc, soon.Comment
