The viper is definitely a sweet boat but just too small! We need more 28-30" hydros!!Mini Cat Racing USA

I agree with you jim. my two Vipers Easily break 60 all day long They just dont like to turn going that fast! These hulls unmodified get really hairy going over 52-53mph. With a moderate setup they are an awsome hydro and have some of the best looking lines.* BBY Lift Master RIgger * Insane Gen 2 Cat * Aeromarine Avenger Pro Twin * Delta Force Cyber Storm * Delta Force 41" Mono * H&M Viper II * H&M Intruder * OSE Raider Hydro * Whiplash 20 * Brushless Mini Rio *Comment

Re: H&M VIPER
Here is a link to my rebuild of Viperhttp://www.jrcbd.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=752
It started out as old school but when the UL-1 appeared I knew I was going to have to do something.
So I made a servo bracket, shoved in the UL-1 ESC up front in the nose
made a couple velcro battery holders & installed the UL-1 motor...lol
MAN! am I glad I did
THIS BABY GETS IT ON NOWcompared to the Nicd/NMH w/brushed motor
BUT! as others have said you get into the mid 50's with this boat it starts to make one nervous..lol
I have no doubt it can hit the 60 mark but I have not finished tuning & playing with props
No matter what you get, you know it is going to be fun & you know you just have to get the other when your done
& Good luck with what ever you decide on.
