    Joe says to use a 1 ohm 5 watt resistor to arrest the spark that occurs on connection.

      I have tried that resistor and no spark at all, ESC arms OK.

                I wonder if having the ESC set on Low or Race on the Castle has that much of an efect on how long it will last?
                PT-45, 109mph, finally gave up after last bad crash
                H&M 1/8 Miss Bud 73 mph
                Chris Craft 16 mph
