    When ESC's go boom?

For those who have had their ESC's go bad on plugin or when upgraded to new batteries; what batteries were you using when the problem occurred.

Please include ESC brand, model, battery brand and Mah rating.

I read your post, I really hope he does... I personally handed my HV 180 to him and the SW Engineer that developed the CC ESCs, although they replaced it w/o a problem I never heard the verdict on the controller, I hope it helped to identify the problem.

I smoked an brand new HiModel 200Amp on plug in on 2ea AirPower 6400mah 20C 3s2p in series for 6S total.

The second HM200A has been working fine ever since though.

I take it you just had one go boom? What brand? model? batteries? Conditions?

Trying to narrow it down to if it's a brand of batteries, ESC's, Mah or "C" ratings.

Nope...signing up for the thread so I can access it quickly. Works well when engineers ask what your setups were.

It is great that a manufacturer is actively trying to resolve customer issues. Just like the "Good Ol' Days."

                              This is so good.
I have a brand new HV240 and I will follow all the posts regarding these problems.
I will not use it until there is a fix for these problems.
The way I see this is that it's ok to have problems with a product, but what defines the manufacturer and the quality of the product is what he does to fix it.
I have a good feeling in this case.
