    34 mph

All day long baby, 34 MPH. I know that is not smokin fast but if your like me just getting started it is a good place to be and not get into trouble. So for me the product works and I had no issues with it on the stock 4s rig. I will try to go to 5s but I need a new prop and new battery to try this setup out.

Later as I progress maybe get a bigger motor and go 8 to 10s but then I have to buy controller. But it is a small price to pay for speed. So once I get over the 5s hurdle then I will look to the 8 or 10s options. But for now I will keep things fun.

      Battery and Charger

Nope, mine didn't include either battery or charger. But then again, I can buy any packs I like for cheap and also chargers which limit my investment into one product so for me the battery and charger would have been and additional cost I would not want to have pushed on me.

            Smokin

I've got at least 25 runs on mine with no issues what was your friends setup? If you go 5s you have to re prop the boat. Let me know I don't want to smoke mine as it is fun and fast for a rookie.

She ran it on 3s then 4s
              everything stock
and low 30s on 4s is kinda slow, I think she was getting that on 3s
the esc and motor cannot take more than 4s

I have to disagree. With that motor, that size boat and 4s, 34mph is rocking. Actually I'm amazed it does that speed. A much smaller Aqua SV27 does a similar speed stock on 4s.

All the ones "out of the box" I have tested run less than 40. Not to say a couple of basic tweaks make it over the 40 mark easy.

                      Yah, your right..
mine have gone 39mph out of the box and low 40's with a prop change
but I had hoped that these TT monos would go much faster than they do on 4s
                      the hulls are awesome!

Me to but the motor is tiny for that sized boat. Probably the reason they stuck it in that motor box.

                            Hi rcboatguy,

I also just bought the Outlaw OBL, and i'm looking to buy me some lipo's for it. Just wondering if you tried your's on 5s already, and what your experience was with it..

                            regards, Miguel
