abs repair/ receiver pack

here is the hole please keep in mind that the I have removed alot of the damaged plastic so that I could see the damage done to the wood structure.

has the pack ever gotten wet? i had one fall apart on me after boat was capsized for about 10 min

yeah when I had a crack in my hatch. but what do you mean by fall apart? this pack looked like the end of the cell just fell off. (sorry no pic already disposed of it)

mie was an ib3600 6 cell pack, the bottom 2 cells fel clean off. (shrinkwrap was removed to see obvious damage

That is pretty ugly Jeepers. I've never had to repair one in that bad of shape. You may be able to shape a piece of foam to glue in the hole and then glass over the top.

Doug, this boat hit an erosion wall the impact was so hard that it ripped the motor screws through the wood, washers and all, it also pulled on the wire drive so hard that it pulled the octura pointed brass prop nut off the shaft!

i will give your suggestion a try. I will post pics of the repair if it comes out good.
